Our first Dale wedding!

Dear reader, if you’ve been following The Dale’s journey for even a little while, you’ll know that we do a lot of funerals and memorials. While it is an honour to be asked to do these services, it is a weighty honour that we wish wasn’t necessary quite so frequently. For many years, one community member could often be overheard saying “Ugh! Too many funeral. We need a wedding!”

Well, this past Saturday we FINALLY had a wedding!! Our dear friends Eddie and Tasha asked Erinn to officiate the service, I helped out with the music, and their wedding party and many friends showed up in full wedding glory! It was lovely.

As you can see in the pictures below, there was a lot of joy going around. (Erinn and I could hardly wrap our heads around the fact that we’d just held a wedding, and couldn’t stop grinning!)

Yay for a Dale wedding!
